Montreal's own six-piece Epic/folk master have been around since 2001! They have gone from lineup change to drastic style change over the year
incorporating Keyboard, Live violin & orchestration over the time! They have supported dozen of High visibilty international artist such as Finntroll, Therion, Sodom, Behemoth, Yngwie malmsteem, Lacuna Coil, Moonsorrow, Ensiferum, Kataklysm and many more! They released their First album called So it begins under the name of Profugus Mortis on a small canadian label called Prodisk. They received much acclaim from the canadian public selling more than 2000 records out of barely any promotion. Shortly after the release of this new album they parted way with their live violonist and incorporated violin sequencing as well as live orchestration. on early 2008 they started working on new material for the next record and they reoriented the band as being a fullblown epic/folk metal band! their festive attitude deeply matched the music they composed and the new record impressed majors label around the world! having allied themselve with Maurizio Iacono (kataklysm) as their manager, Profugus Mortis will now take the world by storm and Invite you into an worldwide Beerfest & party until every one of you drops down!
