New to the forum, a lot of great info on here! I've been a Jackson player/collector for years and have a question regarding my favorite guitar. I have a US made Rhoads student model purchased in 2000 (probably older) and I am curious what model of pickups these came with. The guitar has a sound unlike any other I own and I would like to purchase the same pickup for a Dinky I'm rebuilding. I'm assuming it is a Duncan of some kind, but with no logos and little knowledge of pickups, I'm a little lost. Any info the pickups or the Rhoads student models in general would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Tyler

During the era Student models were available, all Jacksons were custom ordered and built. There could be any pickup in there by now, since they were discontinued in the mid 80's. Your best bet would be to check the back of the pickup for a sticker or match up the ohms resistance to a Duncan chart..
