I bought a set of PJ PU's from a Jackson C20 for a project-

The seller had removed them from the original bass by snipping the wires- they left about 1/2 inch of the yellow and white wires, so it is clear where they go to, but there is no sign of the correct location for the two black wires.

The diagram I have from Seymor Duncan shows them to solder to ground on the back of the pots, but I just want to be sure.

Anyone have a Jackson Schematic or a original C20 they could check??

Thanks :D

I'm not absolutely certain about the bass pickups, but the black wires on regular guitar pickups are grounded by soldering to the back of the pots.. Good luck..

bass pickups are no different. I have a c-20 as well as well as many many others..the blacks go to the pot grounds, or the little tab screwed into the wood inside the cavity and one of those blacks goes to he pots.
