Jackson SL1 2010, the neck is starting to curve ( the action is horrible) but there is no truss rod. I checked under the neck pickup and under the truss rod cover, what gives? Any info will be greatly appreciated. I did email Jackson but no response yet thanks

The truss rod is not visible from the neck pickup route but should be clearly visible under the truss rod cover. There should be a hex nut on the end of the truss rod.

I removed the trussrod cover, there is nothing but wood and glue, very clean from the factory but no metal rod.

Took it in to samash jackson authorized tech and he said the wood needs to be chiseled out to get to the trussrod, they didn't finish it at the factory.

Glad you were able to get the issue sorted out. Did you have them do the truss adjustment?

Good to know that things were taken care of for you.. Slightly frightened by the chisel part, though..

Well they wouldn't replace the guitar but after a major blunder at their factory they should. When I think about it they should be embarressed, I would be. I don't like the idea of them chiseling away, I payed over $2500 for this guitar.
