I have a Jackson DKMGT And I am trying to find more information about it. Serial Number is 9695031 What years was it produced? It has the Strings thru the body and the three Knobs. I have seen very few of this type of Jackson and they are all over the place in prices. Any information and what it is worth would be appreciated. PS I have a few other guitars and this one is my favorite! it plays so nice and I love the sound!

Before 1996, the firt two digits of the serial number indicated the year it was built, and then they started issuing them consecutively. The only way to really tell what year it was built would be to remove the neck and check the stamp at the end of the neck heel. There are collectors out there that seek graphics, but graphic subject matter is subjective as well. Yours could be on the upper end of the value scale, but don't be surprised if you are considering a sale, that the sale price may not be as high as you may think. In this economy, most are only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it, and that is a crap shoot..
