“This is the first one they built me and they sent it and I plugged it in at home just through a small amp at my house and I was like, ‘that sounds really good,’ but I couldn’t really tell. I always have to wait until I fire it up through my rig and/or be in the studio with it to make a record, and it just so happens we were recording For All Kings soon after I received this guitar. So I brought this down to plug it into the studio and really hear it under the microscope and it was the best-sounding guitar pretty much that I own. I ending up using this on ¾ of the record. It has such an amazing edge to it and just the perfect amount of output. It’s just perfect. It’s the best-sounding guitar that I’ve ever played in my history of playing rhythm guitar and I think that’s saying quite a lot after all of these records I’ve made since 1983. It’s really incredible.”
